Twin Cabs for Driving in Either Direction

The Alke ATX4 Double Headed Tunnel Vehicle has a driver cab at each end, so it can be driven forwards in either direction without turning. Developed from the ATX4 platform, it is designed for road and rail tunnels and small-diameter conduits.

Typical uses of this multi service tunnel vehicle are periodic inspections, routine and emergency maintenance, and moving teams, materials and equipment. Road-rail and explosion-proof versions are also available on request.

Load Space, Lighting and Battery Options

A loading area up to 2,500 mm long carries up to 1,200 kg. A 360° lighting system maintains visibility in low light and emergency conditions. The electric motor delivers immediate torque, runs quietly and produces no exhaust emissions at the point of use, and the reinforced, compact chassis suits confined spaces. Power comes from either a removable battery pack, which can be swapped to keep the vehicle working across shifts, or 23.6 kWh LiFePO4 lithium batteries. Built-in connectivity supports fleet monitoring and remote diagnostics.
