The Motrec MC 480 1120 AC Double Ended Maintenance Vehicle has an operator position at each end, so it can be driven forwards in either direction without turning round, making it ideal for use in tunnels. Built on Motrec's MC 480 burden carrier platform, it is designed for water, utility, cable and access tunnels. It produces no exhaust emissions at the point of use and runs more quietly than a diesel vehicle, which suits enclosed working environments.

Robust Build, Configured to Your Application

A maintenance-free brushless AC motor and AC controller run on a 48V system, with a direct drive differential, an all-steel unibody and leaf spring suspension. Regenerative braking and an automatic electromagnetic parking brake, which doubles as an emergency stop, come as standard.

Options for this industrial burder carrier include a steel cab, racks, tool chests, lockable compartments, safety lighting, hitches and custom fit-outs such as welfare or first aid layouts.
