The prestigious Westfield Shopping Towns company approached ePower Trucks in July to supply a variety of electric passenger and utility vehicles for their large shopping mall in west London.
The vehicles had to have a variety of special equipment including black paint finish, corporate logo hazard lights and integral load boxes. After a successful demonstration of the eMerge e2 electric vehicle and close liaison with the Westfield procurement team, a fleet of five vehicles was delivered in time for the Malls’ opening in late October. The vehicles included two 6 seat people carriers, two 4 seat people carriers and an EL utility model. Westfield have also ordered three further e-merge vehicles to complete the fleet.
