The department responsible for street cleaning contacted ePower Trucks in May looking for a high sided platform truck to help operatives clean the streets after Market day.
The task involved removing bulk cardboard and packaging, together with black sacks and general debris. A good range per charge and large volume wire cage were essential. A Jespi 1500 electric platform truck 800kg load capacity with hazard light, puncture proof tyres and a folding sided wire cage was delivered, greatly alleviating the manual, repetitive handling tasks undertaken by the cleaning staff each week.
