A north London Housing provider requested help with the daily task of collecting rubbish and tenants’ old mattresses, white goods etc., on a large housing estate situated on hilly terrain.
The machine would have to be housed and charged in a garage unit on site and provide high load capacity, stability and easy operation. After extensive conversations with all operators concerned and successful trials, a Jespi 1500 electric platform truck with gel filled low maintenance batteries, puncture proof tyres and standard load box was supplied. The inclusion of the Jespi has greatly reduced the manual handling risks associated with site cleaning and maintenance.
