Hawrigg Lune Valley Dairy Farm has just taken delivery of their new Alke ATX electric utility vehicle.

This electric utility vehicle will be used to delivery organic milk to all the rural communities within the area. This electric vehicle will be powered by their own on site wind powered turbine therefore customers will benefit from knowing their milk has been delivered straight from the farm it was produced and only using wind energy to get it there.

Ross Sommerville Area Sales Manager for ePowerTrucks explained to the Dairy that with the fuel savings alone this vehicle would start saving them money from year 3 / 4 onwards based on a comparison to an engine powered equivalent vehicle.
