Dalmuir Waste Water Treatment Works in the Greater Glasgow area services about 600,000 people throughout North West Glasgow, East Dunbartonshire and parts of North Lanarkshire. With this responsibility they need to have the correct equipment on site to help run and maintain the facility safely and efficiently.

Last year they purchased a small electric panel van from Epowertrucks for their maintenance staff to use. With this being a great success they have purchased another two electric vehicles from Epowertrucks to perform similar tasks. This time they have went for two small open flat bed utility vehicles as pictured below.

This site chose these vehicles as they are less than 2p per mile to run, no need for fuel to be stored / handled, low running / maintenance costs and the vehicles don’t cost anymore to buy than the diesel / petrol equivalent.
