ePower Trucks Launches Two Cost-Competitive Electric Vehicles at IOG SALTEX

ePowerTrucks, the UK’s leading supplier of low-cost electric utility vehicles, is launching two new products at SALTEX IOG.

The XT320E electric tipper van is capable of 60 miles on a full charge of its lead acid battery pack and can carry a 1,000kg payload. The battery technology is adapted from successful military use. It requires very little maintenance and can operate at temperatures of up to -20DEGREES.

Fully road-legal, the XT320E is also available with a double battery pack, increasing the range to 120 miles. Fitted with 4WD as standard, the multi-purpose van is designed for applications including estates management, parks & gardens, landscaping and agriculture. Priced from just £30,000, this is the most cost-competitive 3.5t electric van on the UK market.

ePowerTrucks is also launching the Emerge E2, the UK’s first fully road-legal electric golf cart. With a top speed of 25mph and a range of 30 miles on a full battery charge, the EMerge electric vehicle is aimed at specific, lower mileage applications. Costing less than 4p per mile to run, EMerge is one of the most cost-effective green vehicles on available.

A Jerry Hanss, Managing Director of ePowerTrucks, said: “ePower Trucks is proving that electric vehicles don’t have to be expensive - saving the planet shouldn’t cost the earth.

“Our vehicles are specifically engineered to be practical, robust and sensibly-priced.”

ePowerTrucks is exhibiting both vehicles at the IOG SALTEX show at Royal Windsor Racecourse, 7-9 September, on Stand V12.
